Straight out of Lomita, California, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus in Robotics. Interests include robotics, bioinspiration, shape memory alloys, control theory, and violent-gory-bloodbath-"Oh my god Danny Trejo just used that guy's intestines to rappel down the building!" movies. Shivam was part of a team of six students who created a wall climbing robot in six weeks on a $250 budget. "Why do something ordinary when you can do something EXTRA- ordinary?"

Daniel Dichter

Daniel is a student of mechanical engineering from the faraway land of Connecticut. Before Olin, he spent a year working as a home renovator, and has a deep respect for all things that are made by hand. Personal interests include ping pong, hip hop, indie video games, Tarantino films, and fixed-wing aircraft.

Asa Eckert-Erdheim

Asa is from Durham, North Carolina and is majoring in Engineering with a concentration in Robotics. His interests span a wide variety of academic fields, including robotics (especially the bio-inspired sort), sustainability, space exploration and engineering education. Outside of Olin, Asa enjoys a new sci-fi book, a tasty cheese and music that is at least 20 years old..

Adriana Garties

Adriana Garties made her living in Chicago as a stagehand for the Russian cat circus before hopping a freight train to Massachusetts to study folded millirobots. Her interests include biomimetics and rapid prototyping, and her zodiac sign is the Mantis. She sports a pair of beat up Chuck's with a floppy sole.

A Young (Claire) Keum

Claire, a sophomore from Korea, is majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Olin where she found her interest in Robotics. Due to her small hands, she prefers to research on small robots. She has an interest in building circuits, and programming in LABVIEW and other languages. She likes music and traveling around any places. Her voice gets louder and louder when she becomes enthusiastic about an idea.

Emily Tumang spent much of her life in Natick, Massachusetts before deciding to venture out into the wide world. She wound up in Needham instead and is majoring in electrical engineering. Her interests include circuit construction, Java programming, and chainmail weaving.
